Coworking and communication norms are critical for building a strong and productive remote team. The goals of these norms are:

• Collaboration: Enable others to unblock and help each other out.
• Transparency: Encourage over-communication to build alignment across different projects, timezones, and contexts.
• Flexibility: Flexibility define predictable work hours that work best for them.

Working Hours

Our team is remote with folks from different timezones, where everyone works according to their local hours and holidays.

Localized workdays and holidays

Everyone follows their local Mon-Fri weekdays. For those in Asia, their work days are equivalent to Sun-Thu in US-time. Similarly, people will take holidays off recognized by their country.

Virtual Co-working

Everyone is on Gather and Slack during their work hours. This enables our team to easily access and collaborate with each other in a remote setup.
